Corporate Giving Manager identifies and assesses the causes and organizations that align with the company's values and goals and develops strategic plans to support them. Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Manager manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops and launches employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Manager maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Corporate Giving Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. A Day in the life: Lead a successful team, support the store manager, and manage in our fast-paced retail stores Manage store operations to maximize sales, profits and customer service Build, coach, train and engage crew team to deliver superior levels of customer care and business results Inventory protection, asset management, operational and safety issues Overall cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room and outside areas Drive NAPA operational and marketing programs while steering toward continuous improvement in processes and procedures Grow customer relationships, help with sales/service questions, and ensure a positive experience both in the store and on the phone Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
