Corporate Giving Manager identifies and assesses the causes and organizations that align with the company's values and goals and develops strategic plans to support them. Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Manager manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops and launches employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Manager maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Corporate Giving Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Director of Corporate Giving and Events

  • SAFE Alliance seeks a Director of Corporate Giving and Events for the Earned Revenue Program in the Administrative & Executive Program department. This position includes volunteering, participating in giving and engagement circles, attending events, and fostering SAFE's integration within these institutions. The DCE assumes responsibility for community networking, prospect identification, relationship cultivation, delivering compelling public presentations, solicitation strategies, and ongoing stewardship for a sizable portfolio of donors and prospects. Additionally, the DCE will provide supervision and guidance to both the Development Officer for Corporate and Organizational Philanthropy and the Development Officer for Special Events.

Our various housing and shelter programs have provided over 46,000 nights/days of care and served over 3,000 youth and adults directly affected by abuse. We have provided over 10,000 callers/chats/texts, walk-in advocacy and crisis interventions or face-to-face emotional support through our 24/7 confidential SAFEline.

    Position Details:

    We are looking for one person to work on a full-time, exempt basis for an annual salary of $64,000 -$72,500 dependent upon experience. The work location will be at our Rathgeber Village Campus in the Muller area. This position will include some travel and will allow for some remote/hybrid work.

    • Benefit plans and benefit start dates are prorated based on date of hire and hours worked. Eligibility in employer paid benefits, paid time off and holidays are dependent upon full-time employment status and/or hours worked and may be subject to change.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree or relevant training/experience required.
    • At least three to five years' experience in fundraising, sales, or business development preferred.
    • Minimum three years' supervisory experience preferred, will consider volunteer supervision.
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills and genuine enjoyment in working with diverse internal and external constituencies.
    • Experience in non-profit development, for-profit sales, or marketing preferred.
    • Above average listening skills necessary for recognizing opportunities, making connections and to assist matching donors' philanthropic interests with SAFE priorities.
    • Must be comfortable speaking to large groups and making gift presentations to decision-makers.
    • Maintains a donor-focused and community-focused attitude and easily builds solid, long-lasting relationships.
    • Strong computer, research and internet skills and competency required.
    • Pass all required criminal history background checks (including an FBI fingerprint check), as well a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
    • Have a valid, State of Texas Driver's License (If in possession of an out-of-state license, obtain a State of Texas Driver's License within 90 days of beginning employment.) AND at least three (3) consecutive years of driving experience OR one (1) year of driving experience if over 27 years of age AND an acceptable driving record that covers at least the last three years of driver history.
    • Pass all required criminal history background checks including an FBI fingerprint check, as well as a pre-employment drug screen and TB test, if applicable.
