Corporate Giving Manager jobs in Florence, SC

Corporate Giving Manager identifies and assesses the causes and organizations that align with the company's values and goals and develops strategic plans to support them. Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Manager manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops and launches employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Manager maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Corporate Giving Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Higginbotham Automobiles is seeking an Automotive Office Manager/Controller to join our Mercedes Corporate team in supporting our dealership staff and customers. Previous dealership Management experience required for this position. Qualified candidates will have working knowledge of CDK (ADP), as well as a minimum 2 years’ experience as an Automotive Office Manager.

                                                    

    Responsibilities:

    • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
    • Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of all monthly financial statements.
    • Prepare financial data to NCM 20 group by the 10th of each month.
    • Produce, distribute and interpret, as necessary, the daily cash flow reports and Daily Operating Control Reports as well as other periodic management reports
    • Ensures accurate and timely month-end and year-end close.
    • Reconcile all accounts prior to month-end.
    • Run and review expense trend reports monthly.
    • Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
    • Prepare monthly Sales Tax Return.
    • Yearly renewals of all dealer and other licensing as required by state laws.
    • Post daily bank activity and manage cash clearing accounts.
    • Daily monitoring and submitting of floorplan payoffs to ensure proper guidelines
    • Manage monthly and annual accruals and depreciation.
    • General overseeing day to day functions within the accounting office and managing the office staff.
    • Weekly management team meetings.

    Qualifications:

    • 2 years’ experience as an Automotive Office Manager
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally in one-on-one situations to customers and other associates
    • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
    • Computer literate and must be able to learn Company software
