Corporate Giving Manager identifies and assesses the causes and organizations that align with the company's values and goals and develops strategic plans to support them. Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Manager manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops and launches employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Manager maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Corporate Giving Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Are you called to partner with donors in assisting 4KIDS to fulfill our mission of providing Hope, Homes, and Healing for children in crisis. The position is an integral part of the overall development strategy of 4KIDS. This position is responsible for managing the monthly giving program (4KIDS Defenders). This is a highly visible position where energy, diplomacy, sophistication and an understanding of philanthropy and the 4KIDS mission, values, and programs are key factors to success.
    Job Duties:
    • Manage the 4KIDS Defender program to acquire new monthly donors, retain existing monthly donors, and convert single gift donors to monthly through various market fundraising channels
    • Develop the strategic plan for maximizing monthly donors to reach fundraising goals
    • Perform regular donor outreach to include managing gifts to donors and answering donor questions
    • Assist with and attend all major special events for prospect cultivation and donor relationship building
    • Maintain up to date knowledge of 501(c)3 requirements and current trends related to philanthropy to ensure maximum opportunities presented for giving commitments
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • 5-7 years experience in non-profit fundraising
    • Experience working with recurring giving programs
    • Proven relationship cultivation experience and skills
    • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office
    • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
    • Donor database proficiency
    • Availability to work evenings and weekends to attend events
