Corporate Giving Manager jobs in Orange, CA

Corporate Giving Manager identifies and assesses the causes and organizations that align with the company's values and goals and develops strategic plans to support them. Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Manager manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops and launches employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Manager maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Corporate Giving Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Rudolph and Sletten has an immediate need for an in-house Corporate Communications Manager who will lead the organizations communications program and develop and implement internal and external communication strategies for the organization to ensure that unified, consistent, and positive messages define and promote the corporate identity and mission.

    The Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for executing all facets of company communications including, but not limited to, our corporate identity and branding, social media, website updating and content development, employee communications, industry award and ranking submissions, and developing the company magazine, work closely with Employee Engagement Committee to develop necessary content. This position collaborates with the Vice President of Business Development and manages a Marketing Assistant.

    Essential Job Functions:

    Oversight of company brand and messaging ensuring a unified, consistent, positive representation of the company’s goals, core values and vision.

    • Management and Tracking:
      • Plan and manage the Corporate Communications calendar for internal and external communications campaigns.
      • Track and oversee all assignments related to brand and communications.
      • Manage campaigns from ideation through distribution.
      • Track industry awards, rankings, social analytics, and web analytics.
      • Track and oversee photography for both projects and communication needs.
      • Manage the work of the Marketing Assistant.
    • Messaging and Design:
      • Collaborate and coordinate with teams and departments to develop messaging for internal and external campaigns.
      • Oversee development of graphics to support and deliver messaging.
      • Support public relations and advertising requests.
      • Oversight of custom promotional item requests and administration of the company store.
      • Manage the development of all branded material requests supporting internal departments and committees.

    Job Skills:

    • Exceptional communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening.
    • In-depth knowledge of best writing and messaging practices for marketing and social media.
    • Ability to effectively engage with team members of all levels and across departments.
    • Great project management skills, including time management, goal-setting, and prioritization.
    • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
    • Advanced organization abilities
    • Leadership abilities, including training and mentorship

    Computer Skills:

    • Knowledge/proficiency of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
    • Advanced knowledge/proficiency of MS Office Suite.
    • Experience using collaborative platforms like Microsoft Teams.
    • Familiar with online project management tools like Asana.
    • Knowledge of posting on social media including, but not limited to Instagram, Facebook,, LinkedIn and our website.

    Education and Experience:

    • Advanced education in communications, marketing, journalism or related field.
    • Minimum five  (5) years experience in a similar role.
    • Experience in the AEC industry is preferred.

    Salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 depending upon experience
