Corporate Giving Manager identifies and assesses the causes and organizations that align with the company's values and goals and develops strategic plans to support them. Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Manager manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops and launches employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Manager maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Corporate Giving Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Source to Pay Operations team is the engine room of the Global Procurement team and is responsible for the smooth running of all tactical and operational aspects. Our primary purpose is to take the strategy of the function and operationalise it in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

    This role will be a customer-centric, service delivery, process focussed position, reporting to the Director of Source to Pay Operations and will allow you to work with a wide variety of stakeholders. You will collaborate with local and third-party teams to drive great outcomes for the business.

    What to expect

    • You will manage the day-to-day operations of the processing teams.

    • You will act as a point of escalation for internal customers and external suppliers.

    • Collaborate with our BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) partner to ensure the processing teams key performance metrics are met and the best quality service is delivered to customers.

    • Being responsible for identifying and executing potential continuous improvement or automation opportunities within the Accounts Payable team. Planning and delivering high quality solutions whilst working with the appropriate teams ensuring they comply with current legislation

    • Analysing data and measuring performance against key metrics.

    • Leading on the execution of the operational plan to support the Global Procurement strategy

    What we expect

    As an Accounts Payable professional you will have:

    • Proven experience in a Accounts Payable environment with a strong knowledge of working Globally.

    • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate.

    • Experience leading outsourced/offshored BPO teams is highly desirable.

    • Experienced in maintaining SOX controls and RACM.

    • Strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen and an effective communicator.

    Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

    The full-time salary range is between $82,000 - $92,000
