Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Manager manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops and launches employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Manager maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. This critical role to ensures internal and external communications programs continuously, consistently, and strategically embody the voice and presence for both the President and CMB Regional Centers. This position champions assigned communications tasks or projects with autonomy to apply strategic influence within scope and quality standards.
Director of Communications primarily works on-site in a professional office setting at the Rock Island, Illinois, location during standard hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CST. Additionally, CMB offers the opportunity for hybrid schedule consisting of two (2) days' remote work contingent upon meeting introductory period requirements. Working for the #1 regional center requires domestic and/or international travel up to 10%.
