Corporate Giving Manager jobs in Rockford, IL

Corporate Giving Manager identifies and assesses the causes and organizations that align with the company's values and goals and develops strategic plans to support them. Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Manager manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops and launches employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Manager maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Corporate Giving Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     About your new role:

    As our Corporate Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the organization’s global corporate account Sales responsibilities. Developing and facilitating profitable business through increased sales revenue from targeted key accounts and prospects. Managing projects and a team to achieve all project goals. Meet annual sales goals while promoting and leveraging the organization’s global capabilities and presence worldwide. Plan, organize and control short- and long-range new business development and Sales objectives.

    Travel 50% , including international travel.

    What you need:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
    • Minimum of four years of sales experience calling on all C-level contacts.
    • Excellent communication/presentation skills.
    • Ability to understand technical business.
    • Professional appearance.
    • Ability to work as part of a team.
