Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Manager manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops and launches employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Manager maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Job Summary
The KSPS PBS team seeks an experienced philanthropy professional with a strong background in the local nonprofit development space to fill the role of Major Giving Manager. This individual will play a vital role in our fundraising efforts, tasked with identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors and planned gifts to support our mission. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in the local philanthropic community to develop and implement tailored solicitation strategies for each donor and prospect.
