SpiriTrust Lutheran is now hiring a Full Time Day Procurement Manager

Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent; specialized computer training preferred.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in related positions normally required.

General Responsibilities:

• Performs various duties relating to the purchasing and procurement of materials and equipment for SPIRITRUST LUTHERAN as illustrated by the following:
  • Develops standards and procedures for purchasing.
  • Performs specific procurement activities in accordance with established procedure.
  • Negotiates vendor contracts; identifies vendors and monitors their performance to ensure quality of materials and best pricing are secured.
  • Processes purchase requisitions following standard procurement procedures regarding levels of authority and selecting approved vendors.
  • Places purchase orders and verifies terms and conditions while adhering to established standards for equipment, products, services, supplies, and pricing.
  • Coordinates deliveries.
  • Types and distributes approved purchase orders.
  • Maintains files and documentation regarding purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Follows up with vendors and departments regarding open orders, back orders, returns, product issues, etc.
  • Handles credits and returns.
  • Obtains MSDS sheets from vendors when necessary.
  • Serves as a resource for Programs by obtaining information, identifying vendors, gathering materials, etc.
  • Supports Lutheran Home Care & Hospice, Inc. as requested by LHCH for purchasing services, vendor referrals and group purchasing organizations contract support.
