Corporate Insurance Manager manages an organization's overall insurance programs. Analyzes insurance needs by identifying risk exposures and analyzing and classifying risks to provide optimum coverage, costs and claim settlements. Being an Corporate Insurance Manager conducts regular policy reviews, research and compile loss trends, review actuarial estimations. Administers systems to collect data and generate meaningful models and reporting to support decisions. Additionally, Corporate Insurance Manager coordinates policy renewals and applications. May administer self- insured plans. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Insurance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Corporate Insurance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Corporate Insurance Consultant


    In this role, you will:

    • Lead or participate in large or moderately complex exposure and analysis, risk mitigation, financing, claims programs, and processes within insurance risk
    • Contribute to development and implementation of risk strategies
    • Evaluate moderately complex exposures to accidental loss
    • Analyze qualitative or quantitative data of the possibility of loss and the potential impact within insurance risk
    • Lead teams in structure design
    • Develop self insurance programs and marketing strategies
    • Manage deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of claims management policies, programs and related systems
    • Collaborate and consult with more experienced staff for support on complex analysis, oversight of outside council and third party agencies
    • Lead projects and provide guidance to teams


    Required Qualifications:

    • 4 years of Corporate Insurable Risk Management, Risk Management Consulting, Property or Casualty Insurance, or Insurance Brokerage experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


    Desired Qualifications:

    • Ability to research, compile, and perform complex
      analysis on insurance data
    • Knowledge and understanding of compliance or risk
    • Ability to independently provide summaries and make
      strategic recommendations
    • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
    • Outstanding technical and critical thinking skills
    • Outstanding troubleshooting and resolution skills
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office, including Excel, skills
    • Commercial insurance experience
    • 2 years of property and casualty insurance
      experience

    Job Expectations:

    • 4 days in office; 1 day remote
