Corporate Insurance Manager manages an organization's overall insurance programs. Analyzes insurance needs by identifying risk exposures and analyzing and classifying risks to provide optimum coverage, costs and claim settlements. Being an Corporate Insurance Manager conducts regular policy reviews, research and compile loss trends, review actuarial estimations. Administers systems to collect data and generate meaningful models and reporting to support decisions. Additionally, Corporate Insurance Manager coordinates policy renewals and applications. May administer self- insured plans. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Insurance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Corporate Insurance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Requirements:

    Licensed:

    • Currently have your Ohio Health and Life Insurance License

    Customer Service Skills:

    • Ability to provide friendly, courteous, and professional assistance, especially when dealing with individuals who may be seeking information or clarification on health insurance matters.
    • Organizational Abilities:
    • Excellent organizational skills to manage a busy front desk, handle multiple tasks, and keep track of appointments and schedules efficiently.
    • Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and handling administrative tasks.
    • Technology Proficiency:
    • Familiarity with office equipment, including phone systems, copiers, and printers.
    • Proficiency in using computer software for data entry, appointment scheduling, and basic office tasks. Knowledge of relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office or industry-specific databases, may be required.
    • Confidentiality and Compliance:
    • Understanding of the importance of maintaining client confidentiality in accordance with health information privacy laws
    • (such as HIPAA).
    • Knowledge of and adherence to compliance requirements related to health insurance, ensuring that all procedures and practices meet industry standards and regulations.

    Adaptability and Problem-Solving:

    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected situations with composure.
    • Strong problem-solving skills to address client inquiries or concerns and find appropriate resolutions, either independently or by directing them to the appropriate personnel.

    Job Responsibilities
    Office Operations:

    • Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and employees as they enter the office.
    • Maintain basic office organization and track supplies to reorder when needed.
    • Maintain a professional and organized front desk area, ensuring a positive first impression for all visitors.

    Appointment Scheduling:

    • Schedule and coordinate appointments for clients to meet with insurance agents or other staff members.
    • Update and manage the appointment calendar, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
    • Remind clients of upcoming appointments and provide necessary information.

    Client Assistance:

    • Assist clients with basic inquiries regarding health insurance policies, coverage, and claim processes.
    • Provide information on required documentation and forms, helping clients navigate the necessary procedures.
    • Direct clients to the appropriate department or personnel for more complex inquiries.

    Data Entry and Record Keeping:

    • Accurately enter client information into the system, ensuring all records are up-to-date and complete.
    • Maintain organized and secure filing systems for client records, ensuring confidentiality.
    • Retrieve and update client information as needed for appointments, inquiries, or administrative purposes.

    Communication and Correspondence:

    • Respond to emails and written correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
    • Assist in the preparation and distribution of informational materials to clients as needed.

    This position requires 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility depending on workflow.
    A typical office day will begin at 9am and end at 5pm.
    In-office will be required.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $53,677.00 - $61,176.00 per year
