Corporate Insurance Manager manages an organization's overall insurance programs. Analyzes insurance needs by identifying risk exposures and analyzing and classifying risks to provide optimum coverage, costs and claim settlements. Being an Corporate Insurance Manager conducts regular policy reviews, research and compile loss trends, review actuarial estimations. Administers systems to collect data and generate meaningful models and reporting to support decisions. Additionally, Corporate Insurance Manager coordinates policy renewals and applications. May administer self- insured plans. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Insurance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Corporate Insurance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Commercial Insurance Account Manager in this office will assist the P&C Sales Producers in generating the marketing to pitch policies to current and potential clients, as well as implementing the client's policy and negotiating the rate terms and conditions.
Duties include but are not limited to Service and Support of our commercial clients and our commercial insurance producers. The candidate can expect to:
- Prepare and present commercial insurance solutions
- Re-market existing insurance policies to improve our clients’ ability to manage risk
- Work with business and insurance professionals to renew commercial insurance policies
- Amend insurance policies to meet the unique needs of our clients
- Earn professional licenses and certifications
- Respond to client inquiries and change requests
- Other duties as assigned
- Location:
- Fort Worth, TX
- Hybrid work schedule available for qualified candidates
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of previous experience in commercial insurance preferred
- General Lines Agent Property & Casualty License required
- Systems:
- EPIC (AMS) experience preferred or knowledge of a similar AMS system will help with the learning curve
