Corporate Insurance Manager manages an organization's overall insurance programs. Analyzes insurance needs by identifying risk exposures and analyzing and classifying risks to provide optimum coverage, costs and claim settlements. Administers systems to collect data and generate meaningful models and reporting to support decisions. Additionally, Corporate Insurance Manager coordinates policy renewals and applications.     The Senior Manager, Insurance Operations leads a team that service company insurance products for our customers and agents through multiple customer contact channels. You will work with the director and departmental leadership in developing the service strategies and plans for this channel. You will manage the development of your team to ensure the center meets of customer service excellence. You will also play lead role in department projects. You will report to the Director, Insurance Operations.

    Primary Accountabilities

    • You will identify strategies used by other companies to understand and lead care center performance and determine how best to use or adapt these strategies.
    • You will manage business relationships with partner leaders to manage the coordinated initiation, evaluation, prioritization, authorization, implementation, and operational functionality of programs supported within the operations center.
    • You will lead in the planning of multiple analyses which are used by department leadership to evaluate decision options.
    • You will introduce new projects, manage project status updates and department position on strategy changes.
    • You will lead expert interpretation of risk management and related reports, sales forecast reports, related financial reports, retention reports and expansion state metrics for impacts to customer or agent operations.
    • You will manage results and review initiatives to affect desired short and long-term strategies.
    • You will review underwriting analysis and performance scorecards to identify trends and performance areas of concern.
    • You will manage an E&S Underwriting Team

    Qualifications

    • 5 years of E&S Insurance experience
    • 5 years of Underwriting experience
    • Demonstrated Leadership experience - people or project management
    • Demonstrated experience counseling, consulting and negotiating to guide strategic decisions across all levels of management.
    • Solid knowledge of insurance products and sales principles.
    • Solid knowledge of profit, growth and retention measures.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience, including people or project management.

    In this flex office/home role, you will work 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110
