Corporate Insurance Manager manages an organization's overall insurance programs. Analyzes insurance needs by identifying risk exposures and analyzing and classifying risks to provide optimum coverage, costs and claim settlements. Being an Corporate Insurance Manager conducts regular policy reviews, research and compile loss trends, review actuarial estimations. Administers systems to collect data and generate meaningful models and reporting to support decisions. Additionally, Corporate Insurance Manager coordinates policy renewals and applications. May administer self- insured plans. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Insurance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Corporate Insurance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Position Description: Corporate Human Resources Manager
    POSITION: The Corporate Human Resources Manager will manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for our company. The Human Resource Manager manages the day-to-day human resources activities of LifeSkills Connection Inc. This position reports to the Human Resources Director. Directly supervises the Human Resources Specialist and Human Resources Assistant. In addition, works closely with the Finance and Operations Manager to ensure payroll and benefits are administered in compliance with state, federal and company standards and expectations.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
    • Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
    • Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
    • Assist with payroll processing.
    • Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
    • Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation.
    • Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies.
    • Process complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel records and data systems on all employees as required.
    • Process termination paperwork and conduct exit interviews.
    • Recommend corrective action if necessary.
    • Coordinate training requirements and needs of the company. Present training on human resources related topics. Maintain training records.
    • Ensure evaluation forms are prepared and submitted in a timely and professional manner.
    • Cultivate and maintain a positive employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance. Providing a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
    • 3-5 years human resources experience
    • Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
    • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
    • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
