Corporate Relations Director - Higher Ed. jobs in Lancaster, PA

Position Overview:

The High Company is seeking a full-time paid marketing intern for the summer of 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified college student who is interested in gaining hands-on experience with a leading privately held company. This opportunity would be ideal for a student pursuing a career in marketing, journalism, public relations, advertising, communications, business, graphic design, writing, and/or social media. Must be available to work at our Greenfield Corporate office in Lancaster, PA.

The position will be full-time for approximately 10 to 12 weeks. The position will be responsible for completing various assignments and projects including managing web pages, digital assets, and social media.

Job Responsibilities:

• Developing branded content for collateral, which could include case studies, blog articles, website landing pages, flyers, brochures, recruitment displays, etc.
• Contributing to the development and distribution of content on websites and social media (including video content)
• Auditing and editing website content for SEO optimization
• Creating and implementing content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and marketing goals
• Developing intelligent and creative ways to repurpose content for other media, channels, and campaign needs
• Supporting our internal communications functions and channels
• Planning and supporting special events
• Serving as an exemplary writer, consistent with the company’s tone and mission
• Proofreading and editing content before publishing
• Researching content and client trends to ensure that content is relevant and appealing
• Ensuring all-around brand consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate college/university and pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, advertising, journalism, public relations, or another relevant area of study is preferred
• Preference for rising junior or senior at the time of internship
• Strong written and verbal communications
• Team player who possesses strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for online marketing and communications
• Superior knowledge of social media platforms and metrics, especially LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
• Basic understanding of Microsoft applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word necessary
• Experience with a website Content Management System and Google Analytics a plus
• Able to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday in our Greenfield Corporate Office
