Correctional Officer enforces rules and regulations in a prison, jail or other holding facility. Presides over prisoners awaiting trial or those who have been convicted of a crime. Being a Correctional Officer oversees prisoner conduct and safety. Supervises prisoners during meals, recreation, work and other daily activities. Additionally, Correctional Officer documents violations and takes appropriate disciplinary actions. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Correctional Officer possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. About the Role
This is a unique clinical environment caring for patients over night in the Bannock County Jail.
Responsibilities include assessments of inmates, medication administration, wound care, and more.
You will coordinate with jail staff and Ivy providers to assess, plan, and provide quality care to inmates. Our nurses have broad and vital responsibilities, and as such must have a high degree of clinical discernment, organizational skills, punctuality, and professionalism.
A positive attitude and a team spirit are an absolute must.
This is a full time job with our full benefits package.
