Correctional Officer, Sr. jobs in Muskegon, MI
Correctional Officer, Sr. enforces rules and regulations in a prison, jail or other holding facility. Presides over prisoners awaiting trial or those who have been convicted of a crime. Being a Correctional Officer, Sr. oversees prisoner conduct and safety. Supervises prisoners during meals, recreation, work and other daily activities. Additionally, Correctional Officer, Sr. documents violations and takes appropriate disciplinary actions. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Firearms Certification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Correctional Officer, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Our company has immediate openings for experienced industrial sewing machine operators. Our normal production hours are 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, if overtime is required hours will be 6 am - 4:30 pm, with the possibility of 8 hours on Saturday when needed.
Qualifications: The perfect candidate will be eager to learn and have good work ethics. You must have dependable transportation, be self motivated with high quality standards and able to work in a fast paced environment. You must be available for overtime when required. Previous sewing experience is preferred.
