Correctional Officer, Sr. enforces rules and regulations in a prison, jail or other holding facility. Presides over prisoners awaiting trial or those who have been convicted of a crime. Being a Correctional Officer, Sr. oversees prisoner conduct and safety. Supervises prisoners during meals, recreation, work and other daily activities. Additionally, Correctional Officer, Sr. documents violations and takes appropriate disciplinary actions. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Firearms Certification. Position Summary: Provide health education/presentations, individual health screening/ counseling, group discussion and referrals to other professional disciplines. The Community Nurse will be an integral part of this ISC Health and Wellness team and provide the following types of service to all senior center participants.
