Correctional Officer, Sr. enforces rules and regulations in a prison, jail or other holding facility. Presides over prisoners awaiting trial or those who have been convicted of a crime. Being a Correctional Officer, Sr. oversees prisoner conduct and safety. Supervises prisoners during meals, recreation, work and other daily activities. Additionally, Correctional Officer, Sr. documents violations and takes appropriate disciplinary actions. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Firearms Certification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Correctional Officer, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The Accounting Officer oversees aspects of the finance department under supervision of the
Chief Financial Officer.
Typical Job Duties Responsible for the annual, quarterly, monthly and grant-specific financial cycles
including payables, receivables, accruals, allocations, grant expenditure approval, and
financial statement preparation
generally accepted accounting principles and with the requirements of funders, including
grant awards, contracts, memos of understanding, loans, leases and other agreements
