Salary: $80,000.00 - $94,000.00 Annually

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Mon-Fri)

Essential Functions:

• Collecting and analyzing data about operational costs, including labor, material, and production costs.
• Developing and analyzing cost standards and coordinating inventory related activities with management, including analysis, reporting, cycle count, and inventory adjustments.
• Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis.
• Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc.
• Performing account reconciliations, including accurately reporting trends and training staff.
• Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management.
• Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce costs and maximize profit.
• Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data.
• Managing the company’s balance sheet and accounting books.
• Supporting other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure.
• Identify, recommend, implement, and enforce best practices to maintain a dynamic work culture focused on results and improving performance.
• Management reserves the right to revise the job description and to require other tasks to be performed when the circumstances of the job change (for example, emergencies, changes in personnel, workload, or technical development).

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in cost accountant roles, manufacturing preferred.
• Bilingual: Spanish required.
• Associate degree in finance or accounting; bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred but not required.
• Proficient with accounting software and data collection and analysis tools.
