Responsibilities

• Assist the CFO in directing the company's accounting functions
• Supervises the accounting office staff
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements
• Prepare and evaluate financial reports
• Present accounting reports to top management, providing observations and recommendations
• Manage operational data, maintaining its accuracy and integrity
• Set up internal control systems and adopt proper policies for financial reporting to prevent inaccuracies
• Review financial data periodically to ensure its fairness and completeness
• Develop system controls for data integrity
• Develop operational and data documentation, and troubleshooting procedures
• Conduct account reconciliations and analysis
• Manage the company's monthly and yearly closing
• Maintain an understanding of operating software to ensure proper procedures are followed
• Prepare annual budgets for each department
• Assist in special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate accounting or a related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear manner
