Job Description 

Graniti Vicentia is a fast-growing company that is redefining its industry. We are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to join our team and help us define and improve our financial operations. 

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the company & day-to-day operations and accounting workflow. You will work closely with the Controller and Operations director to develop and implement financial plans, analyze financial data, as well as clear and concise financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. 

To be successful in this role, you must be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You must also be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: 

● Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or 3- 5 years of relevant experience

● Must be detail oriented. 

● Experience with construction and/or manufacturing 

● Excel proficiency 

Objectives of this Role 

● Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation of fixed assets and movement of inventory 

● Review movement in the Warehouse Management System and prepare adjustments as needed 

● Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the fixed asset software. ● Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed. 

● Review the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation. ● Conduct periodic physical counts of inventory and fixed assets. 

● Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets 

● Prepare property tax returns. 

● Track company expenditures for fixed assets and small tools in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations. 

● Reports to the Controller and will help facilitate proper controls for the warehouse and production facilities 

ADA Compliance: 

● Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods (80% of the time). 

● Must be able to read and type, as this is a highly computer/ technology driven position. ● Must be able to lift 10 pounds and load onto shelves/ staging area.
