JOB SUMMARY:

• Performs accounting and administrative services
• Completes a wide variety of special projects

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Develop part quotations for new and repeat business for existing products. 
• Update quotes for all small customers at time of order entry
• Create and maintain all cost models for changes in material pricing, cycle time changes, quantities changes, etc.
• Establish all pricing and provide to customer service for input.
• Assist with maintenance of general ledger
• Process monthly journal entries
• Post all recurring and reversing entries at month end
• Assist with coding AP invoices to correct accounts
• Help resolve issues that may come up (inventory, vendor invoicing, tooling, etc.) 
• Maintain costs in IQMS cost system
• Run month end inventory reports.  Review costing for accuracy. Work with Inventory control to resolve quantity issues
• Maintain monthly margin reports by customer and part #
• Assist with AP when needed
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Assist with month end closing
• Voucher tooling vendor Invoices when needed
• Update tooling spreadsheet for customer and vendor invoicing - keeps track of profitability of tooling projects
• Close jobs and report income or loss on jobs for financial reporting
• Diligently organize and otherwise maintain the integrity and accuracy of all documentation, records and monetary items associated with each tooling project
• Provide supporting documentation for audits
• Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
• Generally, assist management staff with special projects as requested
• Apply continuous improvement principals to all practices and procedures
• Perform duties as assigned by Accounting Manager assisting with various accounting duties

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient with computer word processing software and other office applications.
• High School Diploma or equivalent. 
• Proven administrative skills with 2 years experience.   
• Good communicator including phone etiquette. 
• Good team member.

Skill Knowledge & Ability

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable
• Knowledge of general accounting procedure
• Knowledge of relevant accounting software 

Physical requirements 

• Ability to lift 20 – 30 lbs
• Ability to sit and/or stand at work station for at least 8 hours per day
