Cost Accounting Manager ensures that costs for the company's products and services are allocated according to corporate procedures and in compliance financial accounting standards. Oversees the cost control systems, manages and interprets cost audits, and prepares cost accounting reports for presentation to top management. Being a Cost Accounting Manager gathers historical cost data (materials, labor, depreciation, operating expenses, etc.), to compare budgets with actual expenses. Manages the cost accounting staff to complete projects. Additionally, Cost Accounting Manager requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a Director. The Cost Accounting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met, adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Role Insights:

    - At Ignite Spot, every day presents a unique challenge. From varied industries to distinct operational scales, the businesses you'll collaborate with each offer a distinct narrative.

    - While some clients may need your expertise for several hours weekly, others might seek monthly insights. Flexibility and adaptability are key.

    - As a Fractional CFO, your primary task will be to shepherd CEOs toward achieving their financial aspirations. This could range from devising budgetary systems, orchestrating growth strategies, or even steering Mergers and Acquisitions.

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    - Offer forward-thinking strategies, leaving the management of past financial transactions to our dedicated team of bookkeepers and accountants.

    - Employ your exceptional verbal and written communication prowess, ensuring client confidence in your insights.

    - Collaborate closely with CEOs, aligning your expertise with their financial visions.

    - Evaluate financial statements and optimize accounting structures.

    - Liaise with our Controllers and Management teams, streamlining any necessary Accounting Process enhancements.

    - Design Forecasts, Budgets, and pertinent economic models.

    - Regularly convene with business owners, devising and implementing actionable plans.

    Qualifications:

    - At least five years' experience in Financial Advisory or CFO Services.

    Piece Rate: CFOs working with clients on specific projects or deliverables will be compensated on a piece rate basis. The task's complexity, scale, and nature will determine the rate.

     

    Hourly Rate: For those engagements that require a more consistent or ongoing approach, an attractive hourly rate will be offered, reflective of the depth and breadth of the services provided.
