Cost Accounting Supervisor jobs in Rockford, IL

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Entering and balancing daily production
2. Enter raw material and packaging receivings
3. Utilizes AS400 & QAD system to set up new items
4. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
5. Prepare tonnage reports
6. Provides insight to P&L reports
7. Work closely with production management to ensure accurate reporting
8. Other duties and projects as assigned
9. Manage inventory
10. Provide back-up coverage for Payroll Clerk

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• High school education or the equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze documentation and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Ability to learn QAD/ORACLE/AS400 systems
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Ability to initiate appropriate action independently
• Ability to pay attention to detail

Preferred

• Previous plant experience.
• Strong Excel skills
• Associates in Accounting or Equivalent Experience
