Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Cost Analyst opportunity in East TN to support a Small Modular Reactor (SMR) project.
Position Title: Cost Analyst
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 4-20 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work experience on commercial nuclear and/or large construction projects preferred.
- Work experience on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects preferred.
- Previous Earned Value Management System (EVMS) data compliance experience on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) job preferred.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide planning, reviewing, and data collection to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, subcontracts, and labor.
- Perform variance analysis between actual and standard costs.
- Analyze data collected and recording results.
- Assist in month-end close of the General Ledger.
- Provide cost analysis results to assist senior management in decision-making or other financial initiatives.
