Our team of experts specializes in identifying and reclassifying personal property assets to shorten the depreciation time for taxation purposes, resulting in significant tax benefits for our clients. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a new, in-office teammate to join as a Power BI Developer and Data Analyst. 

Position Overview:  

The Power BI Developer and Data Analyst will be responsible for developing and administering Business Intelligence tools and reporting. This role plays a crucial part in transforming raw data into actionable insights through interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports. You'll collaborate closely with key leadership to understand business needs, manipulate data sources, and provide necessary reports. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and metrics. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs, translating them into effective data visualizations across Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Finance. 
• Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. 
• Build reports from diverse data sources such as Dynamics 365 Dataverse, Power BI, SQL Server, Azure warehousing, Business Central, Dynamics Marketing, Dynamics Sales, and Dynamics Customer Service. 
• Optimize data models and queries for improved performance and scalability. 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency. 
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data sources, data transformations, and report specifications. 
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data visualization and analytics, continuously improving skills and knowledge. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. 
• 3 years experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role with proven experience and a strong portfolio showcasing data visualization projects. 
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, ETL, Power Query Formula Language, data modeling, and building complex reports and dashboards. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 
• Experience working with SQL databases and querying large datasets. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
• Certifications in Power BI or related technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus. 
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment and work towards regular deadlines. 
• High attention to detail and ability to provide solutions. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps (Excel, Word, SharePoint).
