Techline Construction is seeking a Groundman in Austin, Texas and the surrounding area.

Home weekends - Weekly Per Diem - Paid Weekly

Responsibilities include :

• Perform various manual tasks in the construction and maintenance of overhead power lines
• Assemble materials on the ground
• Assist other crew members in filling pole holes and trench using a shovel
• Flag traffic and set up job sites as directed
• Maintain organization of tools and materials on work vehicles
• Clean up and organize job sites at completion of work

Skills and abilities :

• Able to adapt to seasonal temperature changes and inclement weather.
• Able to meet physical requirements. Actions include but are not limited to, standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire, lifting and maneuvering 90 pounds, and more.

Requirements :

• Must have a valid Class A CDL within 3 months of employment
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test
• Adhere to company safety and health policies - will receive safety training
