As a Project Engineer, you will support the planning and execution of heavy civil road, highway, and bridge projects. You will work alongside experienced project managers and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of project management. Your responsibilities will include:
Requirements
Preferred candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as engineering or construction management as well as 2-years minimum experience in a full-time project management related role. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a results-driven attitude.
Technical Aptitude & Experience:
Qualified candidates will have experience in construction project scheduling and management software such as Primavera, Viewpoint/Vista, HCSS, or QuickBooks as well as the Microsoft suite. Heavy emphasis on Excel competency.

Work Environment:
This position requires working in various construction job sites that can expose you to extreme weather conditions, such as high heat and humidity, cold, ice, snow, and rain. The job sites can also be loud due to the noise level from moving mechanical parts. Additionally, you may be required to perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions, lift heavy objects, and walk or stand for long periods.
Physical Demands:
The job requires you to have excellent stamina and physical strength to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying heavy objects. You will also need good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination to operate machinery and perform tasks effectively. The job requires you to work on uneven, steep, slippery, wet, muddy, and inconsistent ground, and you must be able to quickly move your arms and legs.
