Additionally, Cost Engineer - Construction experienced with the cost-estimating methods best suited to the nature of the project. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Cost Engineer - Construction work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Perform construction site duties in planning and overseeing construction and maintenance projects, supporting site supervision, and project management. Can be assigned to a single project or multiple projects depending on project size and personal capabilities. Larger projects may have 1 or more full-time construction engineers on-site while the smallest of projects may not have any and these tasks/responsibilities would fall to the project manager.
