Role Description
Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Job Cost Accountant to join their team in the Redmond office. In this role, your primary focus will be monitoring and controlling the financial aspects of various projects undertaken by the company. This role involves working closely with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to track project costs, ensure adherence to budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing timely and accurate financial reports. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. While this position offers opportunities for growth, the initial phase (approximately 6 months or longer) will involve consistent engagement in tasks such as job creation, change order processing, cash receipt posting, and accounts payable invoice management for numerous projects.
