Cost Engineer - Construction jobs in Worcester, MA

Our NDT Division is looking for a junior level Engineer I who is ready to accelerate their career growth by taking on more responsibility in an expanding and rewarding field. This position would support our mission of extending the service life of existing and new structures. Utilizing the most modern tools and techniques, our engineers and technicians perform on-site evaluations and develop a sound understanding of the cause and extent of deterioration. Once we define the durability challenges facing structures, our experience allows us to implement practical, cost-effective repair and rehabilitation solutions, even in the most severe environments.

Responsibilities

• Condition assessments/investigations
• Non-destructive testing
• Install and troubleshoot instrumentation, prepare test reports, conduct research activities, and generally support other Engineers and Project Managers as required.
• Work with a team of technicians in the field to conduct testing and data collection.
• Implement non-destructive testing techniques such as ground penetrating radar, impact echo, corrosion potential and many others.
• Collect field measurements and accurately prepare field notes and other documentation.
• Develop a professional report regarding work performed and conclusions that meet our quality standards and Client’s expectations.
