Collects and coordinates procurement and other cost information used to develop cost forecasting, cost control strategies, and project risk analysis. Being a Cost Engineer - Construction performs data analysis to identify project trends and budget deviations and highlight cost underruns and overruns. Has extensive technical knowledge of processes and materials specific to the type of project. Additionally, Cost Engineer - Construction experienced with the cost-estimating methods best suited to the nature of the project. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Cost Engineer - Construction work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is currently in search of a motivated and disciplined Project Engineer to become an integral part of our expanding site team. Based in Kinsley's York, PA office, the Project Engineer will play a crucial role in offering construction management support, encompassing both administrative and technical aspects, to an assigned Project Manager or Project Managers. Key responsibilities include managing technical documentation, facilitating communication between the job site, Foreman, and subcontractors, overseeing scheduling, and conducting cost analysis.
The successful candidate would ideally possess a degree or background in Engineering or Construction Management, coupled with relevant field experience. Strong proficiency in computer skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive attitude toward learning are highly desirable qualities for this role.
