Des Moines Public Schools is seeking a Counseling Secretary at Central Campus!

Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting counselors with aspects of scheduling. Perform all clerical work in the Counseling Center and support all scheduling functions in District Student Information System (Infinite Campus). The essential functions as shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility; specific position requirements will vary depending on the needs of the department.

Hiring requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Computer/typing skills, particularly with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to operate common office equipment (copier, printer, scanner, fax, and telephone)
Previous secretarial/clerical work or equivalent
Basic bookkeeping skills

Highly Qualified Candidates will possess:
Experience with Infinite Campus, including reporting functions

Position Details:
Salary: $15.74 - $18.36 per hour
260 days (12 months)
8 hours

Final salary will be determined by experience
