Job Summary: Passages Counseling Group, PLLC is looking for an experienced Office Assistant. Our office employees provide the highest levels of customer service for our patients. They serve the patients by greeting and helping them; scheduling appointments; maintaining records and accounts.

Job Duties:

• Ensures professionalism while maintaining excellent patient service
• Provides patients with intake and new patent forms and copies of legally required documents
• Obtain and verify patient demographics, insurance, and other relevant information
• Answers and directs phone calls
• Assists in scheduling patient appointments
• Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
• Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
• Reminds patients of upcoming appointments by telephone; follows up on missed patient appointments
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Office Assistant Skills and Qualifications:

Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing, Professionalism

High-school Diploma or GED required

Office Assistant Certificate preferred

Background Check clearance

Spanish Speaking required

Work 8:30AM – 5:30PM, Monday-Friday

Experience:

Two (2) years of related experience is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
