Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. This individual will administer and interpret psychological evaluations which help clinicians and physicians create treatment plans and track patients' progress. Assessments are often needed when a client presents a diagnostic question. As a Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and support to individuals with various developmental disabilities and mental health conditions.
The position has flexible hours and can be part or full time. The position is also flexible in terms of employement. Canidate can chose from being a W2 employee, with an hourly rate starting at $47 or a 1099 contractor who is compensated with 60% of the rate paid for each service billed.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate mental health conditions and assist in developing appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the field of psychology
Requirements:
- Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure as a Psychologist (Psy D or LPA)
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, such as autism
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and treatments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
