Counseling Psychologist - Higher Ed. jobs in South Dakota

Clear Perspective Counseling Associates are looking for an on-site administrative assistant to work 10-12 hours per week helping out with duties below. We are a group of five independent private practice counselors in a small community. We work in the same office, utilize the same online program for client records and billing and are a fun-loving group of people!

Experience:
- Excellent computer skills

-Previous experience working in a medical or counseling office is preferred

- Experience in working with Insurance companies and the re-credentialing process is also preferred

-Strong experience in Coding and Billing

-Experience with employee assistance programs

- Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial but not required

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Perform clerical duties, including filing, organizing documents, and maintaining records
- Assist with event planning and coordination for office functions or meetings
- Conduct proofreading and editing of various documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism

- working with insurance companies when claims are denied, re-credentialing each therapist with each insurance company as needed, and monitoring monthly billing statements

--Joint business account monitoring- paying monthly bills and making bank deposits
