Counselor - Higher Ed. consults student in individual or group with academic, financial, and personal matters. Has responsibilities of therapy, vocational testing and assessment, program development and evaluation, and outreach activities. Being a Counselor - Higher Ed. requires a master's degree of clinical/counseling psychology. Typically reports to department head. The Counselor - Higher Ed. contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. The man for this job must be in good physical condition and be able to lift a moderate amount of weight. He will be asked to be available for Monday, Wednesday and Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm. He will be required to assist a crew in moving pianos. He will be trained and given a 60 day evaluation period. At that time he will be considered for promotion if meeting standards of the following nature:

Starting pay is $14.00 per hour. A raise of $2.00 per hour will be implemented after the 60 day evaluation if standards are met. Further raises as possible at 180 days and beyond.
