Education:
- High School Graduate or GED certificate
Experience / Abilities:
- Must posses communication, writing skill, Physical/emotion stamina
- Two (2) years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment preferred.
- Possess the ability to learn medical and pharmacological terminology.
- Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
- Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.
Certifications / Licenses:
- Required: Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Required: Possess Basic EKG and/or Dysrhythmia education
- Preferred: Unit Secretary Certification, Certified Nursing Assistant or Cardiac Monitor Tech Certification
