Counter Attendant responds and attends to patron requests. Responsible for various attendant duties including making sandwiches and placing food in display cases. Being a Counter Attendant has knowledge of proper food handling procedures and government regulations regarding the food code. May require a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Counter Attendant typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Counter Attendant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Summary
The Counter Sales position is responsible for increasing sales and profit by efficiently and courteously assisting walk-in, will call and telephone customers with selecting and purchasing products, while assisting the outside sales team with meeting their customer’s expectations.

Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.; must have physical mobility and dexterity to frequently stand, bend, push, twist, kneel, climb, squat, stoop, and reach overhead. Routinely drives/operates forklifts; works with tools, and equipment. Considerable mental/visual concentration, coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visual attention. Construction and Warehouse environment with variable but moderately high noise levels. Must wear closed-toe shoes, gloves, and other protective items as required. A consistent presence at work is required.
In order to operate a forklift, the operator must be a minimum age of 18 years old and successfully complete Coburn’s Forklift Operator Certification.
