Counter Attendant responds and attends to patron requests. Responsible for various attendant duties including making sandwiches and placing food in display cases. Being a Counter Attendant has knowledge of proper food handling procedures and government regulations regarding the food code. May require a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Counter Attendant typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Counter Attendant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Deliver exceptional service, ensuring efficient and high-quality client service.
Proficiently operate computer, communication systems, and all other software systems.
Look up parts for clients and/or the service department, locate and pull parts.
Create purchase orders to acquire needed parts.
Place orders and receive inventory, parts, and whole goods.
Maintain accurate daily documentation of client information and orders.
Preserve a safe, clean, and organized workspace environment.
Provide friendly, professional, and informative interaction with clients, and address concerns and issues promptly and effectively.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
All other duties and tasks assigned by management.
Technical skills encompassing computers, multi-line phone systems, email, etc.
Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 25 pounds regularly.
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, stooping, and bending.
Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in person and via documentation.
Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively.
