Counter Attendant responds and attends to patron requests. Responsible for various attendant duties including making sandwiches and placing food in display cases. Being a Counter Attendant has knowledge of proper food handling procedures and government regulations regarding the food code. May require a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Counter Attendant typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Counter Attendant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Receive freight, unpack, verifies quantities and part numbers. Put stock in bins, assign non stock to department. Verify receipts for accuracy. Enter receipts into Immpower system. Maintain vendor files. Receive requisitions and issue parts and supplies. Periodically count items for cycle checks, answer phone and handle any activity due to security system, gates, CPL power alarms and put up freight. Must be able to read and write, have basic math skills and be proficient on computer keyboard and have effective communication skills
