Rental Coordinator

We are searching for an ambitious self-driven individual to join our amazing team as a Rental Coordinator!

As a Rental Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing operational and sales support to the team. You will work primarily at the rental counter and will engage with customers on a regular basis. This position is considered the heartbeat of the store and as a Rental Coordinator you will aide in driving revenue by achieving superior customer service and ensuring compliance with company policies. A typical day might include the following:

• Walk the yard daily to ensure knowledge of equipment availability, equipment repair status and yard condition
• Answer incoming calls and effectively engage customers both on the phone and in person
• Discuss customer needs and suggest suitable and safe equipment for the application
• Load/unload rental equipment as needed
• Successfully quote rental rates and assists customer in making decisions on best equipment needs
• Accurately process and maintain rental contracts
• Make realistic commitments, and communicate with customers and/or sales reps if deviations from the original commitment occur
• Work in a professional manner
• Inventory counts and reconciliations completed timely
• Engage with the shop staff regarding equipment repair needs and rent-ready equipment
• Maintain clean and orderly counter and showroom area
• Maintain a commitment to safety
• Perform duties as assigned when needed in other departments

Additional qualifications:

• Must be a team-player with positive attitude and the ability to work well with all levels of personnel
• Must be self-motivated
• Exceptional customer service
• Administrative skills
• Knowledge of construction equipment is preferred
• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening as well as randoms
• Pass background check
• Bilingual is a plus but not required

Physical demands

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. or more

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Closed on the weekends
