Description

 The Shop Technician is responsible for cleaning, disassembling, inspecting, and repairing Aerion’s equipment to reduce turnaround time for current and future jobs. 

Requirements

      The shop technician’s ability to inspect, diagnose and repair assist in providing exceptional customer service to customers and reduces turnaround time between job start updates. 

• Performs routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or needed repairs to appropriate personnel (supervisor, shop electrician, etc.); clean equipment.
• Diagnose and disassembles equipment, daily, to determine the specific repair needed.
• Troubleshoots and performs failure analysis of equipment parts and systems.
• Builds, rebuilds, and repairs all parts for needed equipment.
• Ensures that equipment meets job specifications before loading and delivery to the job location.
• Receives and stocks parts and supplies in the inventory room.
• Operates heavy equipment in an effort to retrieve, deliver equipment in the appropriate areas of the shop.

Aerion employees are operating in a safe manner, eliminating safety hazards, injuries, and near misses.

•  Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientation s and training. This includes maintaining accurate JSA’s, proper PPE, and housekeeping.
• Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Responsible for bringing problems to the attention of the field superintendent and safety manager.
• Must have a working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations.
