Counter and Rental Clerk jobs in Norfolk, VA

The Counter Clerk is situated at the Service and Parts Department’s counter in a key position to note the arrival and departure of customers, vendors, technicians, parts, phone calls, and all other aspects of the maintenance area. They are the first point of contact for customers and assist them through the vehicle check-in and drop-off process.

The Counter Clerk is also responsible for the physical checking in and checking out of parts and supplies making sure what comes or goes is recorded accurately. When not working with the many people that show up at the counter, they also are required to organize the parts and supplies both physically, on the shelves, and in the drawers by labeling, cleaning, and rearranging and digitally by updating and creating profiles within the maintenance software. They are expected to assist with taking physical inventory annually which may include a weekend.
