These positions are responsible for overseeing administrative and case management operations of the court system. This includes managing court documents, coordinating schedules, and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily court proceedings.
Typical Duties:
- Manage and maintain court documents, including filing, organizing, and archiving
- Coordinate court schedules and ensure all parties are notified of upcoming hearings and trials
- Assist judges with administrative tasks, such as drafting legal documents and preparing case files
- Conduct research and gather information for court cases
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness
- Perform data entry to update case information in the court's database
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from the public regarding court procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with other court staff to ensure efficient operations
Desired Skills and Abilities:
