TradeWinds Resort is hiring an Assistant Chef to ensure that the quality of products exceeds the expectations of the guests through offering the highest quality food experience while maintaining profitability. To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in fine dining. This Employee Partner will ensure that all foods are prepared according to established recipes and supervise/instruct staff etc.

Responsibilities

• 3 years in the culinary field, specifically fine dining
• Capable of handling high volume
• Vocational preparatory training in advanced cooking skills
• Advanced skills in sautee, grill, garnishes, salads, etc
• Ability to lead and motivate employees to achieve goals
• Be able to operate the following equipment safely and effectively; gas range, deep fat fryer, broilers, gas grills, ovens, steam kettles, electric slicers and mixers
