Court Reporter documents court proceedings by using a stenotype machine. May require completion of a 2-4 year training program at a vocational school. Being a Court Reporter has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Court Reporter works under immediate supervision. We currently have a need for experienced reporters to appear in person to capture the record for hearings in the Las Vegas area,
We are also in need of reporters that are willing to travel for assignments.

Compensation and Onboarding:
You will be an independent contractor and will be compensated on a per hour/assignments basis.
Compensation will include:
Candidates selected for this position will be required to undergo an onboarding process that involves completion of required paperwork, observing reporter assignments, and familiarizing yourself with our online workflow system.
Additional information about our onboarding process will be provided to candidates selected for this position.
There are remote and travel assignments available as well.
Priority for work is given to court reporters who maintain excellent quality standards in the submission of their assignments and present high match based on their former working experience.
