Crane/Tower Operator operates electric tower crane equipment. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Crane/Tower Operator is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Crane/Tower Operator performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a supervisor or manager.     $15.00 per hour

    Shifts Vary with extreme flexibility

    Operator Duties and Responsibilities
    • Lifting between 50-70lbs regularly
    • Set-up, monitor and operate (including make adjustments) the continuous casting machines to very small tolerances, melt, and charge the furnaces etc.
    • Physically inspect product before and after melting
    • Work in a hot environment. (Though area is climate controlled)
    Operator Qualifications and Requirements
    • Communicate respectfully with co-workers and Supervisors
    • Understand and follow written and oral instruction exactly and stay focused at all times
    • Must be on time to work and focused and with an attention to detail while at work
    • Able and committed to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment
